This activity was certainly fun and frustrating. Fun, well because of the drawing part. There was no mistakes really, if you messed up you would just use it to be more creative, not boundaries were present as you drew what you saw. The frustrating part was the blind contour drawing. You just couldn’t see what you were drawing as you looked at the object or person in front of you. Since erasers were not allowed it made it even worse, I began to feel anxious to fix the whole drawing and start all over again. With hours of practice in blind contour drawing, would not be as hard as it was when you first tried it. Drawing will most certainly help in my Aerospace major. If I need to draw a simple sketch of an idea or an object, with depth and perception, then someone else reading or inspecting the sketch has a understanding of what I want to show.
